Case Study
Mademoiselle Angel
A full-stack e-commerce storefront for a family business.
Sep – Oct 2022
ARCHIVEDThe problem
The business primarily relied on in-person sales and contacts, lacking an online presence. This posed challenges in reaching a wider customer base and providing updated information to potential buyers. The need for an e-commerce platform was evident to streamline operations and increase sales opportunities.
The approach
A full stack e-commerce platform developed for a homemade pastry business. The goal of the project was to establish an online presence for the business, enabling customers to conveniently check the monthly menu, collection dates, and times. The platform aimed to increase sales and provide a seamless experience for both customers and the business.

The outcome
Creative design and implementation of the website enhanced business viewership, resulting in increase in user engagement and doubled sales within the first 3 months. A working storefront shipped for a real business.
The live site was later retired as the business changed direction - the code remains public.

Learnings
The successful implementation of this e-commerce platform provided an effective online presence for the homemade pastry business.
But my first real client was family - which still meant real requirements, payment-provider integration, and shipping something dependable.
